This was our 1st visit to this On Inn.
This must be one of the latest write ups ever. I wasn't trying to set a record but sometimes life gets in the way and things take longer than planned.
This was LVH3's contribution to The Queen's Jubilee Celebration and LVH3 members did her proud by arriving in all sorts of Union Jack tat.
The weather was glorious, fit for a Queen. The route was scenic, one of the better corners of The Kingdom. The run lived up to expectations , the hares being Full Member and Cyberseptic, it was long, The Wimps got lost and had to ring the hares for directions and there were only two runners woman enough to do the Rambo Trail, myself and Antiseptic and she managed it with one arm in a sling. She had also done a 62.5 mile run with Cyberseptic the previous weekend, setting a new standard for LVH3 Rambos.
The jewel in the crown of this run was the 360 degree view from the stone circle on Hardendale Fell.
In the circle Upperskirt reigned over us whilst her consort for the day, STT was Master of Ceremonies.
Honours went to Annot, Frances and Dilek, visitors.
Meanwhile Bionic Basher was off on her bike to check on the peasants in the outlying villages.
We retired to The Crown to a right royal lunch, of food that had been left over from The Coronation, that is tinned ham and greasy chips.
On on your majesty, Morticia
